Ex-Boyfriends

    Taylor Swift has had a long list of ex-boyfriends. Swifties over the years have sung her songs over their own personal breakups from an average Joe boyfriend. Taylor on the other hand has dated a good amount of famous celebrities. She has become known for her relatable breakup music. There are rumors that go around about who the songs are written about. Well-known celebrities that Taylor Swift has dated include Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Adam Young, Zach Efron, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, Joe Alwyn, Matty Healy, etc. These men have stolen Taylor Swift's heart for various parts of her life.

    One of Taylor's early memorable ex-boyfriends was Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers in 2008. This was Taylor Swift's first public breakup. She told her audience on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' that he broke up with her over a 25-second phone call. Later fans were able to find out that her songs "Forever and Always", "Last Kiss" and "Holy Ground" were written about her relationship with Joe Jonas. They parted ways shortly before she released her Fearless album in November of 2008. 

    Lucas Till was one of Taylor Swift's short-lived relationships in 2009. They only dated for a couple of months after Lucas played the next-door neighbor in Taylor's "You Belong With Me" music video. Lucas did mention they were better off as friends than partners. Taylor never wrote a song about him because their relationship was short and did not cause any drama.

    Taylor Swift's longest relationship was with Joe Alwyn. Most Swifties did not see much of their relationship. Taylor kept it well out of the public eye for the six years they were together. Fans believe that the song "Dress" that is in Taylor's Reputation album references the two lovers meeting. Both Joe and Taylor collaborated on her albums Folklore and Evermore. There were even rumors of an engagement. After the breakup, Taylor released the song "You're Losing Me" which explains how the relationship ran its course.

    Jake Gyllenhaal was Taylor Swift's most public relationship. They were seen out in both New York City and Los Angeles often. Swifties predict that it was because of Jake's 10-year age gap with Taylor for being the reason for their breakup in 2011. Taylor soon wrote the song "The Last Time" with lyrics referencing their relationship. Another iconic song that hints at clues about Jake and Taylor's relationship is, "All Too Well". Fans believe the scarf reference is about Gyllenhaal. The entire song spills details about their relationship which includes the car trip to upstate New York, the age difference, and Thanksgiving dinner at Maggie Gyllenhaal's house.

    Most recently, Taylor Swift has been linked to Kansas City Chiefs NFL player, Travis Kelce. Taylor was seen alongside Travis Kelce's mother at one of his games cheering him while wearing 'red' for the Chiefs. Swifties went crazy over this news. It blew up on social media and everyone started reposting Taylor at the Chiefs game. Fans started saying she is in her football "era" now. Travis Kelce originally spoke about Taylor on his podcast, New Heights. He told podcast listeners that he made Eras Tour friendship bracelets with his phone number on them. Travis wanted to give them to Taylor, but he was not able to at the time. Little did Swifties know that she would be at that Chiefs game being his #1 supporter.
