     Taylor Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She has taken the world by storm ever since her debut in 2006 with her first album Taylor Swift. Her music is a mix of country and pop. When she first began, she was more of a country artist, but she slowly transformed into a pop artist. She has made a huge impact in music earning twelve Grammys and breaking many world records. She has made on to the top 100 billboards numerous times and every time she releases new music, she continues to break records. She has a total of 10 albums. Some of those include Taylor Swift, fearless, and speak now. 

    Taylor Swift has been able to accumulate many fans. She has millions of fans not only in the United States but across the globe. Those fans have named themselves the swifties. Many of her fans are very dedicated to her and her music. Her fans have gained the reputation of being undeniably loyal to her and ruthless to her opposers. Many fans are willing to spend hundreds of dollars just to see her in person. Her new tour, the Eras tour, has shown just how dedicated to her they are. With that tour, she has broken many records. It is undeniable to say that she is one of the biggest artists of our time.

    Taylor Swift is not only known for her music but also for her social activism. Taylor has made it very clear that she herself is a feminist and Democrat. She is strongly pro-choice and has made that very clear. Taylor is very aware that she has a big impact on many people, and she uses that power in a good way. When Roe v Wade was overturned in 2022, she publicly criticized them and urged many of her fans to vote for abortion rights if they believed in it. She is also an LGBTQ+ advocate. In one of her most popular songs “Mean,” she showed her support for them and was even able to raise money for LGBTQ+ organizations. She has also shown interest in climate change and helping to reduce that. Recently at her concerts, she has started to use glow bracelets that can be recycled or reused to reduce the amount of garbage.

    Taylor Swift is loved by so many not just because she has good music but also because of who she is as a person. She has proved to millions of people that she does not care about the money but her fans. She has proved herself with the decades spent in the music industry and she has only gotten better.
